Who This Is For

Users enrolled in the Honeycomb referral and affiliate program.

Key Obligations

• FTC disclosure on ALL affiliate links — every post, page, or message containing an affiliate link must include a clear and conspicuous disclosure.
• No self-referral — you may not use your own affiliate links to earn commissions on your own purchases.
• Honest promotion — do not make false or misleading claims about any product or service you promote.
• Tax reporting — US-based affiliates who earn more than $600 in a calendar year will receive a 1099 form and are responsible for reporting that income.

Required FTC Disclosure

You must include a disclosure similar to the following on any content containing affiliate links:

“This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a commission if you make a purchase through these links, at no additional cost to you. [Affiliate Disclosure]”

The disclosure must be placed near the affiliate link and be visible without requiring the reader to click, scroll, or expand anything.
