Subscription & Refund Policy

This Subscription & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs the subscription plans, billing, cancellation, and refund terms for the Honeycomb platform (“Platform”) operated by Mindhyv (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By subscribing to any paid plan, you (“Subscriber,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by this Policy.
1. Subscription Plans
Section titled “1. Subscription Plans”The Platform offers the following subscription tiers:

1.1 Plan Eligibility
Section titled “1.1 Plan Eligibility”All subscription plans are available to users who:
- Are at least 18 years of age;
- Have a valid Honeycomb account in good standing; and
- Provide a valid payment method accepted by our payment processor.
2. Billing
Section titled “2. Billing”2.1 Payment Processor
Section titled “2.1 Payment Processor”All payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”). By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. The Company does not store your full credit card or payment details on its own servers.
2.2 Billing Cycle
Section titled “2.2 Billing Cycle”- Subscriptions are billed on a monthly recurring basis starting on the date of initial subscription.
- Each billing cycle runs for approximately 30 days from the subscription start date or most recent renewal date.
- All prices are stated in United States Dollars (USD) unless otherwise indicated at the time of purchase.
2.3 Automatic Renewal
Section titled “2.3 Automatic Renewal”Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel prior to the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method on each renewal date for the applicable subscription fee.
2.4 Failed Payments
Section titled “2.4 Failed Payments”If a payment fails:
- We will notify you via email at the address associated with your account.
- We may retry the charge up to
[RETRY_ATTEMPTS]times over a period of[RETRY_PERIOD]days. - If payment cannot be collected after all retry attempts, your subscription will be suspended and access to paid features will be restricted.
- You may reactivate your subscription by updating your payment method and paying any outstanding balance.
3. Free Trials
Section titled “3. Free Trials”3.1 Trial Period
Section titled “3.1 Trial Period”We may, at our discretion, offer a free trial period of [TRIAL_PERIOD] days for new subscribers. During the trial period, you will have access to [TRIAL_PLAN_LEVEL] features at no charge.
3.2 Trial Conversion
Section titled “3.2 Trial Conversion”- At the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate unless you cancel before the trial expires.
- You will be notified via email at least
[TRIAL_NOTICE_DAYS]days before the trial ends and before the first charge is processed. - No charges will be applied during the trial period.
3.3 Trial Eligibility
Section titled “3.3 Trial Eligibility”- Free trials are limited to one per user and per payment method.
- We reserve the right to determine trial eligibility and to revoke trial access if abuse is detected (e.g., creating multiple accounts to obtain repeated trials).
4. Cancellation
Section titled “4. Cancellation”4.1 How to Cancel
Section titled “4.1 How to Cancel”You may cancel your subscription at any time through any of the following methods:
- Account Settings: Navigate to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan in your Honeycomb dashboard.
- Support Request: Contact our support team at
[SUPPORT_EMAIL].
4.2 Effect of Cancellation
Section titled “4.2 Effect of Cancellation”- Your subscription remains active through the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent billing cycles.
- Upon the effective cancellation date, your account will be downgraded to the Free tier, and access to paid features will be removed.
- Cancellation does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the remaining days in your current billing period, except as described in Section 5 below.
4.3 Data Retention After Cancellation
Section titled “4.3 Data Retention After Cancellation”- Your account and associated data will be retained for
[DATA_RETENTION_PERIOD]days following cancellation. - After the retention period, data associated with paid features may be permanently deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- You may export your data at any time before deletion through the account settings or by contacting support.
5. Refunds
Section titled “5. Refunds”5.1 General Refund Policy
Section titled “5.1 General Refund Policy”Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis subject to the following terms:
5.2 Prorated Refunds
Section titled “5.2 Prorated Refunds”- If you cancel your subscription within
[REFUND_WINDOW]days of the start of a billing cycle, you may request a prorated refund for the unused portion of that billing period. - Refund requests must be submitted via
[SUPPORT_EMAIL]or through the in-app support channel. - Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
5.3 No Refund After Refund Window
Section titled “5.3 No Refund After Refund Window”- After the
[REFUND_WINDOW]-day window has passed, no refunds will be issued for the current billing period. - Partial-month usage is not eligible for a prorated refund outside the refund window.
5.4 Service Outage Exception
Section titled “5.4 Service Outage Exception”If the Platform experiences a material service outage (defined as a continuous period of unavailability of core Platform features exceeding [OUTAGE_THRESHOLD] hours), you may be entitled to:
- A prorated credit applied to your next billing cycle, calculated based on the duration of the outage; or
- A prorated refund if you choose to cancel your subscription as a result of the outage.
5.5 Chargebacks
Section titled “5.5 Chargebacks”If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company instead of contacting us for a refund:
- We reserve the right to suspend your account pending resolution of the dispute.
- We may provide transaction records and evidence to the payment processor to contest the chargeback.
- Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination.
6. Price Changes
Section titled “6. Price Changes”6.1 Notice of Price Changes
Section titled “6.1 Notice of Price Changes”- We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time.
- You will receive at least 30 days’ written notice (via email) before any price change takes effect.
- The new pricing will apply at the start of your next billing cycle following the notice period.
6.2 Your Options Upon Price Change
Section titled “6.2 Your Options Upon Price Change”Upon receiving notice of a price change, you may:
- Accept the new price — No action required; your subscription will renew at the updated rate.
- Cancel your subscription — Cancel before the new pricing takes effect to avoid being charged at the new rate.
- Downgrade your plan — Switch to a lower-tier plan if available.
6.3 Grandfathering
Section titled “6.3 Grandfathering”We may, at our sole discretion, offer existing subscribers a grandfathered rate for a limited period. Any such offer will be communicated in writing and is not guaranteed.
7. Plan Downgrades
Section titled “7. Plan Downgrades”7.1 Effect of Downgrade
Section titled “7.1 Effect of Downgrade”- When you downgrade from a higher-tier plan (e.g., Pro to Starter, or Starter to Free), the change takes effect immediately or at the end of the current billing cycle, at our discretion.
- Upon downgrade, access to features exclusive to the higher-tier plan will be immediately restricted.
7.2 No Partial Refund for Downgrades
Section titled “7.2 No Partial Refund for Downgrades”- Downgrading your plan does not entitle you to a prorated refund for the difference in plan pricing for the current billing cycle.
7.3 Data and Content
Section titled “7.3 Data and Content”- Content and data created using higher-tier features will be retained but may become inaccessible or read-only until you upgrade again.
- We will not delete data solely because you downgrade; however, storage limits applicable to the lower tier will apply going forward.
8. Taxes and Fees
Section titled “8. Taxes and Fees”- Subscription fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (including but not limited to sales tax, VAT, and GST) unless otherwise stated.
- You are responsible for all applicable taxes associated with your subscription, as determined by your jurisdiction.
- Tax amounts will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your billing address.
